Voice adds audio to a character conversation. Listening to a message and starting a call are different actions, so check the control you are selecting and the cost displayed with it.
Voice messages and available calls
An audio message is a response you can play back. A call feature provides a separate interaction flow where it is available. The presence of one does not guarantee the other on every character or device.
The token documentation includes listening to voice messages and supported voice calls among token uses. Do not assume that unlimited text chat includes unlimited audio. Check the action before confirming it.
If you cannot hear the character
- Check your device volume and whether the browser tab is muted.
- Confirm that the correct speaker, headphones or Bluetooth device is selected.
- Try another character or a different audio item to determine whether the issue affects one profile or all sound.
- For a call, review the browser's microphone permission and the chosen input device.
- If the issue continues, record the device, browser and affected feature when contacting support.
Audio availability can differ
A character's voice options and a device's browser permissions are separate from the subscription. Allowing microphone access does not unlock a paid feature, and changing your plan does not fix a muted tab.
Use the supported feature on the account and character you selected. If an audio tool is unavailable, check its current access conditions instead of treating it as a guaranteed part of every profile.

Does Candy AI speak?
Candy AI includes voice-message and supported call features. Check the character and the audio controls available in your account.
Do Candy AI voice calls use tokens?
Voice-related actions can use tokens separately from text chat. Review the displayed price and access conditions for the call you want to start.
Why is there no sound on Candy AI?
Check device volume, tab muting and the active audio output. If only one character is affected, include that detail when reporting the problem.
Should I allow microphone access for text chat?
A microphone is not needed simply to type a text message. Review a microphone request in the context of a voice or call feature you deliberately chose to use.
Are voice calls the same as Candy Roulette video matches?
No. Voice calls are audio interactions. Roulette is a separate video-chat-style experience with AI matches and per-minute token metering. Live Action and Candy Cam also have their own interfaces.
